Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FlyStory ("the Service"), including signing in with email or Google, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our AI Output and Results Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use FlyStory on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use FlyStory. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all content created, exported, or published from your account.
• One account per user. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free credits or circumvent limits may result in suspension.
• Unless a plan expressly permits team access, accounts are for one registered user and may not be sold, shared, transferred, sublicensed, or rented.
• Notify us promptly at admin@flystory.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. The Service

FlyStory provides a scene-based workspace and AI tooling for making short-form videos. Core capabilities include:

• AI script generation that turns an idea into spoken, scene-by-scene narration.
• A scene-based editor for arranging text, images, video, and audio layers.
• AI image and video generation, plus stock visuals sourced through third-party providers.
• Text-to-speech voiceovers and background music.
• Importing reference material and uploading source videos for auto clipping when you have the rights to use them.
• Rendering and exporting MP4 videos in supported aspect ratios, including portrait and landscape presets.

We may add, change, replace, or remove features at any time. Beta or experimental features may be incomplete, unstable, or withdrawn without notice. AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing them before publishing.

4. Credits, Plans & Billing

AI actions such as generating scripts, images, voiceovers, and exports consume credits. Credits are allocated by your plan or purchased separately, and their cost per action may vary by region and provider pricing.

• Credits are consumed when an action is requested; failed actions caused by our systems are not charged.
• Credits are not legal tender, carry no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• New accounts may receive free credits as a one-time welcome allowance; free credits may expire or change at our discretion.
• Credit-card checkout renews automatically for the chosen billing period until you cancel. Other payment methods are one-time payments and require a new checkout to renew.
• Charges are processed in IDR. If a plan is displayed in USD, the exact IDR amount and locked server-managed exchange rate are shown before payment.
• Plan changes (upgrade, downgrade, monthly/annual) take effect according to the terms shown at checkout.
• We may temporarily throttle or restrict unusually intensive activity when reasonably necessary to protect stability, prevent abuse, manage third-party costs, or keep the Service available to other users.
• Contact admin@flystory.io for billing issues before filing a payment dispute. An improper chargeback may result in suspension while the dispute is investigated.

How plan credits are granted

Paid plans grant credits on a recurring basis as described at checkout. The amount shown is the credits you receive for each grant period (typically per month), not a one-time pool for the entire subscription unless we explicitly say otherwise.

• Monthly billing: credits are granted at the start of each monthly billing period.
• Annual billing: you pay for twelve months upfront at the discounted annual rate, but credits are still granted on a monthly schedule — not as the full year’s allowance on day one.
• Annual plans may include a different monthly credit amount than the equivalent monthly plan, and may include a one-time welcome or first-period bonus as shown at checkout.
• Unused credits do not carry over. At the start of each grant period, your plan credit balance is reset to that period’s allocation; any credits you did not use from the previous period are forfeited.

Cancellation

You may cancel credit-card auto-renew at any time from Settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future automatic charges; it does not undo charges already made. One-time methods (QRIS, virtual account, and similar) do not auto-renew — access lasts until the end of the paid period, then the plan lapses.

• Monthly plans: after cancellation, you keep access and any credits already granted until the end of the current monthly period; the plan does not renew for the next month.
• Annual plans: after cancellation, you keep access until the end of the paid annual term. Credits continue on the usual monthly schedule for the rest of that term. The plan does not renew for the next year, and we do not refund unused months.

Refunds

All subscription and credit purchases are final and non-refundable, except where refund is required by applicable law.

• We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, unused credits, plan downgrades, or because you changed your mind after subscribing.
• Once credits have been granted or used, they are not refundable, including for annual plans where credits are issued monthly.
• Canceling stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.
• We may, at our sole discretion, correct billing errors (such as duplicate charges or incorrect plan charges). Contact admin@flystory.io for billing issues.

Fee changes

We may modify subscription fees or credit costs. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period, and we will give reasonable notice so you can cancel before they apply. Continued use after a change takes effect is your agreement to the new fees.

Pricing, credit grants, and credit costs are displayed in the app before you confirm an action or subscription.

Commercial and monetization rights

Your subscription plan determines whether you may use videos you export from FlyStory for commercial or monetized purposes. The rights shown on the pricing page for your plan apply to all exports made while that plan is active.

• Free plan (limited): personal and non-monetized use only. This includes hobby projects, learning, and posting organically on channels you own without paid promotion, sponsorship, or direct monetization tied to the video.
• Free plan does not permit client or agency deliverables, paid advertising, sponsored or branded content, affiliate-driven monetization, resale or sublicensing of exports, or operating monetized channels where the FlyStory export is a primary revenue driver.
• Paid plans (full): commercial and monetization use is permitted, including client work, brand and marketing videos, paid ads, sponsored content, and monetized distribution on social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
• You are always responsible for complying with third-party platform policies, music and stock licenses, voice-provider terms, and applicable law, regardless of plan.
• A commercial-use entitlement does not clear third-party copyrights, trademarks, music, stock assets, faces, or voices that you do not own or have permission to use. It also does not guarantee platform approval, exclusivity, or any business result.

Upgrading to a paid plan does not retroactively license past exports for commercial use. If you need commercial rights, subscribe before exporting for that purpose.

5. Your Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of the ideas, scripts, media, and projects you create or upload ("Your Content"). Subject to your plan and applicable law, you own the videos you generate and export.

You grant FlyStory and its service providers a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, modify, process, display, and create technical derivatives of Your Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, comply with your instructions, or satisfy legal obligations. We do not sell Your Content.

You represent and warrant that Your Content is yours or that you have the rights to use it, and that it does not violate the rights of any third party. You are responsible for reviewing generated videos before you export or publish them.

Because AI models can produce similar outputs for different users, we make no guarantee that generated videos are unique, exclusive, or original. AI-generated assets may not be eligible for certain intellectual-property protections.

6. Acceptable Use

A standalone Acceptable Use Policy is published on this website and is incorporated into these Terms. You agree not to use FlyStory to create, generate, upload, export, or distribute content that:

NSFW, adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, and sexually suggestive content is prohibited in all forms, including AI-generated images, video, audio, and text. This is a complete ban. It is not limited to sexual content involving minors or non-consensual sexual content, which remain separately and strictly forbidden.

• Infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights, including uploading or extracting material you do not have rights to use.
• Is NSFW, adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, or sexually exploitative, including AI-generated material of any kind.
• Is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or harassing, or that involves the sexual exploitation of minors.
• Impersonates a person or organization or creates deceptive deepfakes without consent.
• Contains malware, or attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Abuses credits, automates account creation, or circumvents usage limits.

We may refuse generation, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

7. Responsible AI Use

FlyStory’s AI features must be used responsibly. In addition to the Acceptable Use Policy and the rules above, you agree not to use AI generation to:

• Generate NSFW, adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content of any kind, including AI-generated images, video, or text. This prohibition covers all adult sexual material. It is not limited to content involving minors or non-consensual sexual content.
• Generate sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual sexual content of any kind. Both remain strictly forbidden.
• Create demeaning, dehumanizing, or harmful depictions of people, cultures, religions, or protected groups.
• Impersonate real individuals or clone a person’s likeness or voice without their consent.
• Produce or spread misinformation or disinformation intended to deceive or harm.
• Exploit AI for automated decisions that affect a person’s legal rights, or to profile, surveil, or discriminate against individuals or groups.
• Provide medical, legal, or financial advice presented as authoritative.

You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs and for how you use them. We may refuse, limit, or remove generations that violate this section, and we may suspend accounts that try to bypass these rules.

8. Faces, Voices & Likeness

You may use voice, character, or likeness features only when you have the legal right and all required consent to use the relevant person’s image, voice, identity, and likeness.

You must not create deceptive impersonations, non-consensual intimate media, fraudulent endorsements, or videos that falsely suggest a real person said or did something. You are responsible for any synthetic-media, AI-generated-content, advertising, or endorsement labels required by law or by the platform where you publish.

9. Third-Party Services

FlyStory relies on third-party providers to deliver AI and media features. When you use these features, the relevant provider processes the inputs needed to fulfil your request:

• AI model providers for text and script generation.
• AI image and video generation and media processing providers.
• AI voice (text-to-speech) providers.
• Sign-in via Google OAuth.
• Payment processors for plan and credit purchases.
• Uploaded source videos you process through auto clipping, subject to your rights and applicable law.

Your use of these features is also subject to the respective providers’ terms. Third parties may change prices, limits, policies, or availability. We are not responsible for third-party outages, account actions, or discontinued integrations.

10. Auto Video Clipping

FlyStory lets you upload source videos you are authorized to use and automatically extract short clips. By using auto clipping, you confirm that you own the content or have the legal right to process and edit it.

Uploaded source files and extracted clips are stored only as long as needed to operate the Service and are deleted according to our retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Service License & FlyStory Intellectual Property

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, FlyStory grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for lawful personal or commercial purposes permitted by your plan. You receive no ownership interest in the Service, software, models, templates, branding, or underlying technology.

The Service, including its software, design, the FlyStory name, and logo, is owned by FlyStory and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the Service.

12. Copyright & Takedown Requests

We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and respond to valid claims of infringement. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@flystory.io including:

• Your contact details and a signature (physical or electronic) of the rights holder or authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material, with enough detail for us to locate it.
• A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

We may remove or disable access to material we believe in good faith to be infringing, and we may terminate accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notice with equivalent details.

13. Content Backups

While we perform regular backups, we do not guarantee that data will never be lost or corrupted, and we are not liable for the integrity of Your Content or for any failure to restore it. You agree to keep your own copy of important videos and projects in a location independent of the Service.

14. Availability, Exports & Experimental Features

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, fixed generation or export times, permanent feature availability, or error-free output. Export and generation times are estimates and may vary with project complexity, demand, internet conditions, plan priority, maintenance, and third-party capacity.

Beta and experimental features, including labs and preview tools, may be incomplete, unstable, or removed without notice.

15. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using FlyStory and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates legal risk or harms others.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete Your Content after a reasonable retention period described in our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold FlyStory and its team harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, published videos, uploaded source files, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

17. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you grant FlyStory a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

18. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service and all AI outputs are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or results. Additional detail is in our AI Output and Results Disclaimer.

We do not guarantee that a video will be approved, ranked, monetized, or remain available on any third-party platform. Illustrative examples of growth, income, or time saved are not promises of similar results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlyStory is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or platform access. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights, disputes will be brought in the competent courts of Indonesia.

20. Severability, Waiver & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and AI Output and Results Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and FlyStory regarding the Service.

21. Language

These Terms may be made available in more than one language. If there is any conflict between translations, the English version prevails.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
